thursday

After the bunker we went swimming. The pool had a wave machine and a flume (and meant the scouts have a least one wash).

After dinner we had the talent show, which Dom won with his singing.

Tomorrow is our final day which will be spent in edinburgh.

Shhhhh... Its a secret

We have just spent the morning at Scotland's secret nuclear bunker. The tour also included a simulated attack on scotland where we got to hear how it would sound underground if a bomb was dropped 3 miles away.

Before we left we surprised Ash by officially investing him as a leader.

We now move on to the swimming pool.

Here we go...

Thursday morning, we have had breakfast, tidyed rooms, made packed lunches and are mow setting of towards st andrews to visit scotland secret nuclear bunker. It will be interesting to compare it to the kelvedon hatch one.

Here's an explorer coming out of the caving system

archery

Showers again this morning so archery is indoors. The rain isn't stopping the adventure course or caving though. Stayed tuned for a photo of each of them

Tuesday at camp

Another exciting day in scotland started at knockhill racing track a bit further north and ended with a film in the building. In between we stopped at EICA for extreme high rope adventures and played uni-hoc and circus skills back at fordell-firs.

Everyone has had a brilliant time and are looking foward to caving, archery, adventure course and a visit to deepsea world tomorrow.

Leave us comments to the blog posts and if we have time we will read them out to the scouts.

EICA

At the moment those that have a head for heights are approximately 100ft in the air on the aerial assault course

knockhill

We managed to avoid the showers and got onto a damp track for 10 minutes each on the track.

Lots of spins but no accidents.

As we got to the track early the race school were kind enough to give everyone a free 'racing speed' lap of the main circuit. The little seat leon cars reached speeds of just over 100mph on the short back straight!

monday

We had a great day on the king swing, Jacobs ladder and crate climbing. All those that wanted a go really enjoyed it. We need a decibell meter on the video recording to see id it was lauren p, rosie or lauren h screamed the loudest!!

We had time in the evening to write and post postcards so keep an eye on your letter box.

Go Karting and indoor climbing on tuesday, so keep looking at the blog for updates on what we are doing.

Sundays highlights

After the long journey, sunday was a day of just getting to know the site and organising ourselves. A photo trail around the site, lunch and then a few games before a film and pop corn.

Everyone is now settled in and looking forward to today activities.
